Prices displayed on this site are relevant for online bookings only. Prices may vary when booking over the phone or at the airport desk.
PRIVATE CAR / CHARTER BOOKINGS
A booking fee of $1 per person per booking applies when booking online, which calculates when processing payment.
Baby seats & child booster seats are free of charge in our Sedans & 7 Seat vehicles. They must be requested at time of booking and information provided to ensure that we provide the correct seat. They are subject to availability.
Luggage trailers will be supplied for 12 + pax coaches.
WAITING TIME POLICY
For Arriving Passengers:
No extra charges are levied for flight delays or delays caused by Customs & Immigration clearances, however, should your flight be delayed you will be moved on to the next available service. We will not issue any refunds if you decide not to take the next available service we have offered you.
For Departing Passengers:
For transfers to the airport, the free waiting time allowance is 15 minutes for private transfers from the booked pick up time. If the passengers make the vehicle wait longer than 15 minutes, a waiting time fee of $20.00 per 15 minutes (or part thereof) will be charged. The passengers will be required to pay any waiting time charges directly by credit card to our reservations team over the phone.
In the event of a code share partner being contracted to provide the transfer on behalf of the client, we are not liable for any actions or consequences of actions of the code share partner, whilst the client is in the care of the code share partner.
Airport Shuttle Transfers
For Airport Shuttle Transfers please be ready 5 minutes before your stated pick up time, as they run on a schedule and cannot be delayed. If you are not ready and waiting during the outlined times you may miss your assigned transfer and may not be eligible for refund or reimbursement. In the event you miss the shuttle you will need to rebook and pay.
TIMETABLE & TRAVEL CONDITIONS
All schedules are correct at the time of placement on the site but are subject to passenger demand and availability.
Sun Palm Transport reserves the right to alter as it deems necessary. Whilst every effort is made to maintain the timetables services, no responsibility will be taken for inconvenience due to delayed service for any additional cost or expense incurred by you as a result of schedule changes. Travel duration times are subject to change due to traffic and weather conditions.
PUBLIC HOLIDAY SURCHARGES
Passengers travelling with Sun Palm Transport do not incur any Public Holiday Surcharge.
The total amount of free-of-charge per fare paying passenger is one suitcase (No more than 30kgs.) and one small carry-on bag able to be taken on board the coach. Any excess luggage may not be able to travel on the same day and may incur additional fees. Anything in excess of this allowance is subject to additional charges.
ADDITIONAL LUGGAGE CHARGES
**THE FOLLOWING MUST BE REQUESTED AT TIME OF BOOKING**
- Pushbikes/Golf Clubs (must be in a box or hard case.)
- To Cairns – $12
- To Northern Beaches – $18
- To Port Douglas – $24
- Prams and Wheelchairs – FOC
- No items over 30kgs will be carried unless prior approval is obtained.
Sun Palm Transport Group accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to luggage arising out of or in any way incidental to the service or the accommodation whether such loss or damage may be due to alleged negligence or misconduct of the part of the company, its employees or agents or otherwise. We recommend that personal insurance is obtained when making your travel arrangements.
DAMAGE TO VEHICLES
Any interior damage done to vehicles (i.e motion sickness or excessive alcohol consumption resulting in professional cleaning) will incur additional charges and these charges will be the responsibility of the company and/or the passenger.
Airport Shuttle Transfers
If you cancel your ticket under 24 hours there will be no refund on the cost of your booked shuttle service
If you cancel your ticket 24-48 hours prior to travel a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
If you cancel your ticket 48 hours prior to travel you will receive a full refund less 15% administration fee.
No refund is provided in the case of services that have already commenced.
Bookings can be changed to another date. (Depending on availability). Or transferred to another party, for a period of 6 months from the date of booking.
Cancellations of Charter Bookings will be accepted 14 days prior to booked pick up time and will incur a 20% cancellation fee. Any booking cancelled less than 14 days prior to booked pick up time will incur the full transfer fee.
Any booking changed within 72 hours prior to booked pickup time can be changed to another date subject to availability.
Changes cannot be made to a booking where you have arrived late or for any other reason, or after your original departure time, as your fare/ticket will be forfeited. Sun Palm Transport accepts no responsibility should you not be present at the designated pickup and drop-off points for your transfers.
All of your details are kept private and confidential. No personal details will be published to outside agencies. Sun Palm Transport Group will use the information to execute your reservation using Sun Palm Group affiliate offices or selected office/region of your reservation in order to be executed. Sun Palm Group does not collect credit card details from any transaction. All credit card transactions are conducted directed directly through the DPS gateway and are secured using the industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
Customer credit card and personal details are encrypted when transferred over the internet.
The company will be collecting information from you by various means i.e. completing any form issued by the company, or publication on its website, or in electronic, written or verbal format. Forms such as change of address forms are also deemed “Collecting information”. Where your personal information needs to be discussed, the company will seek to ensure the information is held, used or disclosed with the National Privacy Principles and other applicable privacy laws and codes. You information could be disclosed in the following, but not limited to or governed by the Information Principles of the Privacy Act 1988.
- Maintaining our companies systems and databases
- As required or authorized by law. i.e. any government or regulatory body.
- Where you have given your consent.
- The company will assume you have given your consent regarding the above, unless you indicate otherwise.
Sun Palm Transport reserves the right to refuse travel, or remove any passenger from the coach, who is behaving in a disruptive, inappropriate or threatening manner even if you have a ticket or confirmed reservation. If a passenger is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or we believe you are in possession of unlawful drugs, we may refuse the right to carry you and your baggage. Smoking, the consumption of illicit/non-prescription drugs and/or alcohol is strictly prohibited on-board any Sun Palm Transport vehicles.
